What matters the most to me is ease of accessibility. The best way to ensure that is to turn off all Java/Flash/Script whatever else you have on your browser and try to load the page that way. Or use a computer that is about ten years old or older. If it takes too long on the old computer, or if you cannot load it without fancy gimmickry, it probably won’t be accessible. Not everyone has the most current information technology at their fingertips, and we have to keep that in mind.

  2. As Salamu Alaykum. I kinda like the old way better. And I agree with pinkMuslimah. The fancier it gets, the more I have to spend on a new mobile…

    To the above comments:

That layout should be just as fast, if not faster, than the old one.

    To the devs:

Its looking very nice but the right column is wasting space (unless you’re going to add other things to it) it can easily be moved or made smaller. Also one thing that I would like would be using actual text for the Arabic rather than images.

The design is looking very clean and nice. Some tips:

    – being able to edit the resources might cause some problems with incorrect/inappropriate content. There should be a group of moderators who are trusted to review the changes. There can also be some members who have made many good contributions and become “trusted”, so they can make changes without having to go through moderation.

    – the arrows at the top for previous/next page should also be at the bottom of the page.

    – in the last post on the blog, you showed that there will be 5-star ratings for each resource. Shouldn’t these ratings be given at the same time as the the review in the image above?
